I am here in Bahia Blanca again this week, this time it’s for conference though. Today I guess we are going to get together with around fifty elders and either stay at the church and play sports there or go to a near by park and do the same. Sounds like some fun things are happening in the lives of some of the cousins. Brighton congrats on going to Australia, and Alyssa with all of her smarts. Dusty´s getting married! Congratulations to him!

This week went well, we had a tough time finding a lot of people but the people that we are finding are good quality that look like they are ready to progress and stay in it. On Friday we had a activity at the church where we go and play volleyball for a while and then futbol. It was a big hit, a lot of people came some members, inactive and a lot of non members. It was really fun though we have this 18 year old kid named José he is a great kid, Really good at futbol. But really humble and a great example, I guess the missionaries had passed by and taught that family a month earlier and left a book and a member from another ward that is the friend of this José told us to go back over there. We stopped by and the family doesn’t really have any interest but josé does so we sat down and taught him alone. So we taught him some stuff and then i invited him to read from the book of mormon; he told us that he had been doing it and was in first nefi chapter five: So we were pretty impressed about that and so then i invited him to pray about it and get an answer about the book of mormon and all: he then says that this new year something had changed and he has had more interest in the religion and that he had been praying and he received an answer! wow; that’s awesome I joked around with him and said you have got two out of two of our invitations but i have got one more and then invited him to go to church with us on Sunday: He laughed and said he would: so he came this week and I think he really enjoyed it: I got called up out of no where to give a talk
in sacrament meeting i guess the president here does that quite a bit; it went really well though it seems like my talks go better when I don’t plan them out anyways.

This week we had an asado with pablo and his family; it was the birthday of there daughter Mariana so they had us over to eat with them: such a humble family they don¨t even have a bathroom right now: But they are great people
the wife is reading and marking the scriptures that she likes: he was with a friend the other day and he started making fun of the mormon and of him because he was having us over at the house and he was going to the church: Pablo said to him ¨im just glad that i know where the true church is and that it is not made up and run by men but by god! what an awesome guy already sharing his testimony with the people and with us during the lessons and he¨s not even baptised yet: What an example for all of us there is no excuse for us to not be baring our testimony often.

This work is awesome i have no doubt that it is the work of the lord and that the lord calls us to do important duties.

Thanks for everything you guys do.

saludos a todos!

ELDER LOTT
