Hey everyone things are going well, this past week we had a lot of fun. This week we have set the marriage of Pablo and his wife on Thursday if everything goes well. They already got their blood drawn and everything we are just hoping that the paper work and all that other stuff will be done in time. So when the marriage date works out we will be having the baptisms on Saturday! This week we had the focus of the mission on every companionship having at least four investigators in church on Sunday so we were shooting for that and to get some inactive people back to the church also. Sunday came and it worked out that we had four investigators! So the fasting, praying and of course hard work all paid off! Also there were a bunch of others there that I hadn´t seen in my three weeks here, so it was nice to see a lot in the church. The son that is going to be getting baptised with his parents this Saturday named Pablito got up to bear his testimony in sacrament meeting. He’s nine years old and I was a little scared in what he was going to say but wow did he put me in my place. He started off thanking Lott and Clayson for all of the teachings that we have given him and told us that we are like brothers to him, we are like his older brothers. He then bore a little testimony about Jesus Christ and about his church it was amazing! All of the members were really impressed looking around at each other and the primary teacher started tearing up, she is his teacher. It was great though really fun to see, then he went and sat down and started calling people out and telling them to go up and bear their testimony. He wanted to do his again but we told him to wait until next month. José went to church again he is another investigator with a baptism date for the 22nd so he is still going strong. Today we went on the other side of the (rio negro) river to a place called patagones where they are having a big festival with tents set up everywhere selling things. So we took advantage of that and went over there so we had to take this little boat that costs one peso to get there it was pretty funny. The sports activity that we had on Friday went well this week we had forty people there! I would say maybe half of those are members if that, so we need to start getting them there on Sundays too!
Sounds like you guys are starting the transition there from winter to spring now. It still hasn´t cooled down much here yet we will see how much longer the hot weather lasts. Our house is horrible, we live up on a balcony in the house and there is a window up there but they built to the side of us so now all you see out the window are bricks so upstairs it is always hot and has no circulation. My companion and I both have a fan each pointed toward us at night, It wouldn´t be that bad and probably wouldn´t need fans if we lived downstairs but it was just so poorly planned out. I better get going but thanks again for everything you guys do for me.
Love you guys
Elder LOTT
