Hey fam,

Good news I got everything taken off of my nose, Its back straight again but is still a little bit swollen on the side but you cant notice it much.

Yesterday we had an activity with Lautaro, the 14 year old that smokes. We did the activity with him and it made him sick even to think about smoking so we are hoping he comes through strong here, he is such a mature 14 year old that wants the blessings he is really trying hard, a great example.

We are here in Bahia Blanca right now, tomorrow is my last conference so we will make the best of it.

Thanks for everything you guys do, sorry its such a short letter this week. Hey Little girl thanks for the letter, Miles sounds like a little busy body. My companion was laughing and looking through my pictures he other day and says that miles is identical to dad. I looked at the pictures and they have a lot in common maybe that’s why he loves gramps so much.

Well this morning I got my blood taken out and then went and talked to the doctor that’s going to operate on me, so now I know a little better how it´s going to be. Tomorrow I have to be fasting and I need to be their at the clinic at 11:30 in the morning, the operation starts at about 12:30 or 1. You guys there are only three hours behind us right now. Hey will do the procedure and then he said that they won´t release me until about 8 o clock that night. I am going to have something put in my nose I will have to wear for two days and just breath out of my mouth. Also I will have a plastic cover over my nose that will be there for around ten days. It´s a bigger procedure than I was planning.

We will be doing the mothers day call from the phone in the church. I don´t know the number right now but I will be buying some cheap phone cards anyways to use.

Thanks for fasting and for all of your prayers. I´m sure everything will turn out good, it´s to bad that it had to be with seven weeks left in the mission.

I got my new companion today, Elder Ruiz. He´s a good kid, we met back in August of 06 when I flew down to Buenos Aires to go through the temple he was there in the MTC. I understand him a little bit better now though. I guess all those questions that you asked me I will answer this next Sunday on the phone because I want to ask you more about it anyways. Oh yeah and My companion will be all done talking on the phone around six o´clock so anytime after. That would be three o´clock there. You get out of church at two o´clock don´t ya?

We have got one baptism date as of right now and are planning to take out another one with The friend of José that is 18 years old.

Things are going well, can´t wait to hear from you guys talk to you soon.

Hey thanks for all of the info. Mom it´s not really hurting, all I am taking is Ibprofen so it´s not to bad. The swelling has gone down quite a bit and you can see better now how crooked it is, and I had a little bit of black under my eyes these last couple of days. Yeah mom this doctor is an ENT specialist, he seems pretty good. I will be getting it done exactly seven days after the break so that sounds about right like you were saying. No my nose isn´t affecting the work at all, most of the time I forget about. I am not sure what the recovery time is going to be like, I wanted to ask him about that I guess I will give his office a call and see if I can find out. I will be getting a new companion on Monday I already know who it is, His name is elder Ruiz and he´s a Chileno! But thanks for what you are doing and for your prayers! Today I went and got my heart checked out and Monday I have to go get my blood drawn to see if everything is ok so they can put me asleep to do it.

Hey guys hows it going, Im writing you guys to let you know what is going on with my nose and ask you some things. First of all yeah I have a broken nose, it broke to one side and it broke down. So I went to a specialist here in Viedma and he told me what we have to do to fix it.

This next Tuesday they are going to put me out and the doctor is going to go up and crack it back to where it was before. I was worried about if it was going to be crooked or different, but the doctor told me that it will go right back to where it was before the break, so I am happy to hear that and am praying for it.

The whole procedure is going to cost 3000 pesos, or in Dolores 1000. The area doctor says that’s a bargain and Im under the church right now anyways. So yeah next Tuesday at 12:30 It will be done, Im glad I will be asleep though so I won't feel a thing.
