Hey hows everything going, this week went well in Ayacucho. We had a conference with all of the districts put together (like a stake conference). So we had to set up transportation for all of the members to get to Tandil. So we rented a big van to do it. It’s really weird there really wouldn’t be the church running here if they took out the missionaries. But I got to know most all of the members and they are really good and excited people at this time. We had seven come with us to church this week but next week we are going to have a lot more because it’s going to be in ayacucho. The work is really up and going here right now between me and my companion.

We have got quite a few people and families that we are working with. We will end this week with at least one baptism date, really we are pretty excited here, we have received a couple miracles in this last week and have been blessed greatly. But if things go right and we receive a couple miracles and paper work with divorces we could have a lot this transfer. Ayacucho is kind of a different place, the people are one extreme or the other. Either they are really nice and accepting or they are not really safe people to talk to. There has been a lot of suicides and depression in this city. They say they are doing studies to find out why, It’s just a lack of spirituality is why there is depression, but where Satin is trying to hit hard, he is hitting here hard for a reason so we are expecting good things to come.

That’s awesome that Shawn is heading out on the mission, he will be a hard worker.

My companion is a pretty funny kid, he reminds everyone of a latin Chris Farley, Because he’s big and just does and says funny things. He is an amazing teacher though, I am learning a lot from him, he is really bold and we have been throwing it down are people lately. There is this one inactive family that has been inactive for about a year and a half. They have been to the temple to be sealed together and everything and I could see the dad being a leader in the church. So we had a couple lessons with them this week and one of the lessons we read in D&C about temple marriage and the blessings and just went bold on them but with love. At the end the dad says “Wow, thanks we really needed that”. So they are getting closer to return to church, we watched the testaments a bunch of times this week with family and investigadores. It really is a big help, it’s spiritual and it helps them with their testimony of the book of mormon.

This week we taught an inactive member that has aids! It was kind of scary because she had scabs and open cuts that she was wiping the whole time and then shook our hands, but I trust that the lord is protecting us. One lesson we had was awesome this week. They have these two little girls and when we got there there was the smallest one that ran outside and gave us both the argentine kiss she was so cute. Then about halfway through the lesson her other daughter walks in and Runs over to give us kisses. The lesson went well and she is reading and going to pray about the book of mormon. But it went really well because we got a lot of confidence from them, and their little girls are just so cute!

I got the package that you sent me and it was just in time because I just ran out of deodorant so thanks. The pictures are awesome too, little miles looks like a little stud he is growing up quick. Keep sending different kinds of pictures with the letters of tawny too. I don´t think you can send pictures through salt lake but if you just do it directly to the Bahia address you can. Thanks for everything. Dad I hope you have a good fathers day this next week. We do need a new barbeque and I am used to eating a ton of meat so we can use it a lot.

Love you guys
Elder Lott
