Hey how is everything, Sounds like you guys are having fun with all of your family get togethers. Sounds like the rodeo went well and you guys did some fun stuff on the fourth of july. I celebrated the fourth of july too, at night I have to make a couple calls and me and another elder sang the star spangled banner together over the phone! Yeah it was pretty intense. No but really it was a good day I have the blessing of leaving and doing the lords work everyday and it doesn’t matter if it’s Wednesday or Friday night I have the responsibility and the blessing to preach to the people in my area.

The week went pretty well; we have a baptism set up for this next Sunday! Our investigator named Isaias, he asked me to baptize him so that will be fun. We also have Monica and her daughter Rosio, Monica has already committed to be baptized and we are going to invite her daughter to follow her example and get baptized with her. They always come to english class now, along with a couple of other kids. This Sunday went well, my companion and I taught the primary and then we had a great sacrament meeting. Then last night after church all the Elders and Hermanas from this zone came to Ayacucho to work for a couple of hours. Our president set up a little sheet to go around asking people certain questions. It actually went really well, I think I had little faith before hand thinking we weren’t even going to use it in the road. But everyone used it and we found a lot of people to work with for this next couple of weeks so we sure do have work to do in Ayacucho. This is also the last week of the transfer, I might go. We will have to see next week.

You guys have a huge group going on the river this year sounds like it’s going to be a blast. But hey maybe next year I will be their with you guys!

So there are a couple people going home this next week from this zone so we went kind of big on our last transfer. We bought a lamb that a member is cooking at this moment and we are all going to the dam for lunch and we are all going to eat lamb and potato salads. It only comes out to about ten pesos every person. That’s only a little more that three dollars a person. Meat here is so good, and cheap too. We bought a whole lamb for eighty pesos or about twenty seven bucks.

It’s freezing cold here today, I am all bundled up with three sweaters. We still don’t have heat in our house yet but hopefully this week. Kenzie sounds like the same trek trip that we went on a while back, with a lot of tough walking but some good experiences. How is the summer going for you, working? Playing a lot? Sports? Keep working hard.

Talk to you guys next week
Love Elder Lott
