Familia,
How was the week, thanks for the pictures. Nothing like some good December snow! Tawny how are you getting along in the cold weather, you looked a little cold in the pictures. About ready to return back down to Brasil? I just noticed in the pictures that little girl is not a little girl anymore. Is she the tallest girl in the family now? Or are you all still pretty close?
This week was pretty good, yesterday in church everyone joined together for the first class except for primary and my comp and I did a presentation for the Mormon Olympics that we are doing and taught a little bit about the apostasy. Then our second class that is for new members and Investigators my companion and I got to teach also because the teacher either doesn’t prepare or just leaves right before. That’s the normal missionary life though,
always there to step in!
It was a great testimony meeting this week, there is this one hermano in the ward that always wants to do every prayer, read every scripture and do everything. So we have to calm him down a lot, but the thing is he doesn’t have any teeth and it’s hilarious the way he talks. He got up to give his testimony this week and starting telling a story about a rot wilier and started barking from the pulpit. He really does do everything from his heart though even though it comes off really weird sometimes I really do feel the spirit from him.
They the girl that got baptized a little over a month ago got up and bore her powerful awesome testimony about the church and then she looked at my companion and I and said; I want to thank my little guidance’s for helping me know the way and teaching me the doctrine. It was pretty awesome, that’s the real happiness that the scriptures talk about when helping other people.
The zone here is doing really well; we have something planned out called ¨Navidad Blanca¨ or White Christmas. We are going to have all of the baptisms together in the same church on the 22 of December. So far we have 15 people that have had the faith to make the choice and are ready for that day! Wow that’s going to be a fun day; we are going to plan it out good with a lot of food and just a good experience for all of them. You guys better be getting a few more storms or we might be having more white here than their. No but baptisms are always really special and I can just imagine how strong the spirit will be there.
I am going to send some pictures that I took this week. But thanks for everything, until next week!
Les Amo
